Depending on their preference, guests can choose between either B&B and self catered accommodation. Every morning, tasty country breakfasts are dished up either around the swimming pool or in the dining room.

Afton Grove is run by a family who are passionate about the outdoors, and thus this Cape Town country retreat is perfectly suited to avid bird watchers, enthusiastic horse lovers and those with an affinity for nature. A wetland birding route, including some 70 species, starts within easy walking distance and Afton Grove itself boasts a list of over 100 bird species identified over the past 25 years.

Breakfast and Meals Our cosy dining room welcomes guests for breakfast every morning. While staying with us, they will be treated to the freshest fare including home baked breads, free-range eggs and decadent fruity jams. There is a choice of continental or farm style breakfast. For those needing to head out really early, as long as we know well in advance, breakfast can be arranged. You'd be amazed at how many a friendships have been forged around the Afton Grove table or in our adjoining lounge. We can also put together a "traditional" South African BBQ's known as a braai on request.
