Orpen Rest Camp is positioned on the western border of the Kruger National Park. The name of this camp originated from the person's surname who donated the land. The untouched open plains and scattered trees are covered by sweet grass which the animals cannot withstand and therefore it attracts many browsers. If you feel lucky, this is a perfect area to see a cheetah, lion and leopard. Orpen offers his visitors a wonderful opportunity to experience rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard up close and personal, in a natural environment. People who love the wildlife will also find wild dog, cheetah, zebra and giraffe in this original area.
